“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Socialist Party presidential candidate Norman Thomas

Joe Biden gives us a glimpse at the heart of a statist

If you want a little insight into the deranged mind of a liberal, progressive statist, look no further than VPOTUS, Joe Biden....

"Every single great idea that has marked the 21st century, the 20th century and the 19th century has required government vision and government incentive," he said. "In the middle of the Civil War you had a guy named Lincoln paying people $16,000 for every 40 miles of track they laid across the continental United States. ... No private enterprise would have done that for another 35 years."

Really Joe? Except for nuclear weapons, the Hoover Dam, and possibly the World Wide Web, I can't think of a single noteworthy accomplishment or good idea that came from government....ever. Did government invent the microwave oven, the cotton gin, the light bulb, the internal combustion engine, or ice-cream sandwiches? Like 99.99% of all innovation, these ideas came about from private enterprise. And by private enterprise I mean individuals working in their own self interests creating things to make money for themselves and their families....or as you dumb statists like to call it, greed.

When free men are unencumbered by onerous, tyrannical government, through their self-interested pursuit of profit, they improve the lives of everyone with their ideas, innovations, and inventions.

You can add the interstate highway system, although it actually orginated with the government of the Third Reich and Eisenhower liked the idea so much he improved upon it - based on his horrible cross country trip with the US Army in the 1930's on contemporary roads.

OK, I'll credit the government with that. So that makes like 4 good ideas out of what, millions?
