“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Socialist Party presidential candidate Norman Thomas

We think we have a choice, but do we really?

This cartoon sums up nicely the false differences presented to voters regarding the political parties and the ultimate direction of the country.

-There may be differences in approaches to issues, but in the end doesn't government always get bigger and more intrusive?

-Don't politicians always lie to us about what they're doing?

-Don't political friends get benefits that are paid for by regular taxpayers, regardless of party?

-Are there really substantive differences from one administration to the next in our foreign policy, energy policy, spending, taxation, regulatory tyranny, etc.?

Americans, along with our liberties and freedom, are being led to the slaughter house of dependence regardless of which party is in power. Entrenched, political insiders call the shots behind the scenes and there's nothing we can do about it. The outcome of elections matters very little in terms of how we live our lives from day to day. Voting merely changes the window dressing on the prison.

Divorce yourselves as much as possible from the influence of the corrupt government in your lives.
